Great atmosphere, friendly service and good food. The chicken is what many people come here for, and rightfully so. It's a bit salty, but welcomed flavor, especially when you're pairing it with the chicken and not just eating the skin alone. Last time I went I tried the Jaegerschnitzel, and I will say, that was quite disappointing. The schnitzel wasn't quite crispy enough, the sauce was a under seasoned and didn't have much flavour, and the button mushrooms were small and not sliced (albeit plentiful), which took away from the presentation. I needed to add salt to this sauce, which was a strange juxtaposition to the salty chicken. My friend and I got the fries and croquettes for sides, the fries were mediocre, but the croquettes were good. Overall still 5/5 because you can't beat the atmosphere, and when I go back, which I definitely will, I'll just stick to the chicken.

A lovely evening with great food in a rustic atmosphere. The service, very polite. A small downside, we waited about an hour for the food as a lot of walk-in customers picked up food to go, but this can be forgiven because the variety of food "compensated" us. In general, a highly recommended location in Goslar.
Very nice middle-class atmosphere, nice and courteous innkeeper. Based on the reviews I chose half a chicken, I can only say it was very tasty and recommended. There is a large selection of beer and the place is worth a visit. If we are back in Goslar, we will see each other again.

The first address in Goslar for chicken. The classic half chicken is so crispy and delicious nowhere else. The seasonal menu also offers hearty and worthwhile alternatives, for example during kale season. The staff is always friendly, quick and obliging. Always worth a visit, even for guests from outside!
We have been to this great restaurant many times. The ambience, the service and especially the food are very tasty and more than filling. We really enjoy being at the Bugaboo and always have a great time.
Anyone who is dissatisfied here is completely wrong. The best chicken around. Service is always friendly and accommodating. Prices are okay. The family has been a preferred traveler for years. But book a table beforehand. Otherwise no chance
